QuikTrip 500: Odds, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch for 2019 race

Last week, NASCAR hosted its largest event of this year in the Daytona 500, and it was about as unpredictable as one could expect.Denny Hamlin, a man known as a king of the restrictor-plate races, took home the triumph as a huge crash pumped out a massive section of the field down the stretch.

As racing begins, this week there will be sins on the track.

Kevin Harvick is the clear favored at 4/1 odds with just two career wins on the track and eight top-10 finishes in his last 10 races there. While Busch includes five top 10s in his last 10 races and two wins at AMS, kyle Busch and Joey Logano equally have 6/1 odds. Logano has no wins, but four top-10 finishes.

And while Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski may get lost in the shuffle, they’re more than formidable in Georgia.

Who wins? Kyle Larson is due for a win, although it might be foolish to choose against Harvick. The 26-year-old went with a win last season, but Atlanta could be the place for him. Larson has a second place finish in five career races at AMS and three top-10 finishes.
